Read the text, then answer: « A shopping day in Sfax »

Last Saturday, Rania went shopping in Sfax with her aunt Leila. First, they went to the market. “How much are the strawberries?” Rania asked. “They’re five dinars a kilo,” said the seller. Aunt Leila bought a kilo of strawberries and some meat.

Then they walked to the clothes shop. It is next to the bakery and opposite the bank. Rania needed a sweater for school. She tried on a blue sweater in the fitting room, but it didn’t fit. The red one was perfect, and it was cheap: only twenty-five dinars!

After that, they went to the toy shop behind the post office. Rania’s little cousin Fares has a birthday next week. Rania chose a puzzle, but Aunt Leila preferred a ball. In the end, they bought the ball.

They ate a croissant at the bakery and went home, tired but happy.

A model text to compare with (after writing mine)

Last Sunday, I went to the mall with my mum and my brother. First, we went to the clothes shop. I tried on a blazer, but it didn’t fit. Then I found a nice sweater. It was thirty dinars. My brother bought a toy car for twelve dinars. My favourite shop is the bookshop. It is next to the café and opposite the toy shop. We went home in the evening, tired but very happy.

One good example among many: compare, don’t copy.
